Take my hand, let me guide you to the undiscovered corners of our city. This playlist encourages you to get on your feet, to hop on a unique ride filled with sensual melodies and charming thoughts. In between the comforting notes of the piano, captivating strums of the guitar and delightful sounds of the violin, poet Tracie Morris’ engaging voice emerges to present her creative response to Gertrude Stein’s Tender Buttons, reflecting on what it means to her and what it can mean to us. Closing with Midori Takada’s ‘Trompe-l’Oeil’, our journey ends with the calming tunes of the flute, softly dropping you off back where you started, only with a new perspective on your day-to-day life.
