In Extra Extra Radio Episode #25, we invite you into a world where the familiar turns fantastical, and desire runs the streets like a wild current. This isn’t just a city—it’s Our City, where the line between flesh and dream blurs. The city pulses with hunger—for life, love, and connection. Its very existence thrives on hormone-fueled explorations, from ears that resemble Venetian canals to feet made of dazzling jewels.

This particular night, we find ourselves in the City’s beloved Symphony Hall, as seven citizens bare their bodies’ tales—each one a journey through muscles, joints, and the secret desires hidden beneath their skin. Tonight’s event features the odd yet captivating Thomas Onion-Bavette, a high-school leatherwork teacher turned folk musician, as he takes the audience on an intimate journey through his body. His stories blur the line between the fantastical and the visceral—his ears, likened to the Grand Canal of Venice, have inspired architects to create an entire city within his ear canal. His feet, once afflicted by illness, shed their skin to reveal an array of brilliant gemstones, transforming his body into a living treasure trove. As the evening unfolds, Thomas dives deeper, recounting strange encounters, bizarre relationships, and bodily transformations that reshape the boundaries of desire, identity, and form.

Join us in celebrating music, where lust is the conductor and laughter echoes through every pore. You are invited to wander, to question, and—most importantly—to feel. Step inside and stay awhile; we promise not to bite… unless you want us to.

The show is written and performed by Dan Fox and Michael Portnoy in close collaboration with Loes Verstappen who selected the music, and Monte Masi. Voice acting by Thomas Dudkiewicz, Dan Fox, Michael Portnoy, Loveday Smith and Johnny Vivash. Editing and sound design by Tobias Withers. Artwork by Antoine Marchalot.
