We begin this episode on a sad note. Our host, Michael, finds himself at a celebration of the life of one of The City’s most legendary figures who has passed away, Nubbert. The crowd gathered here at the vast Cathedral of Saint Pancetta is enormous. Throngs of people are standing outside, braving the rain in order to pay their respects to the great man. Let’s speak to some of them, to get a sense of who this guy really was, and explore The City’s many different pathways that might lead us to unearth Nubbert’s desires.
