Awarded by the Turner Prize in 2013, artist Laure Prouvost wanders between Antwerp and London, and exhibits in the most acclaimed art galleries and museums around the globe. Her installations can transform art spaces into a sodden sub-aqueous bar, laced with squid ink and dotted with vodka fountains. Laure presents an incredible and factious version of reality. Known for her lush, immersive films and mixed-media art works, she composes a rich, almost tactile assortment of pictures, sounds, phrases, found objects, sculptures, and signs. Laure’s works pull the viewers into her unruly, imaginative visions, always seducing you.
