Close to the centre, Rotterdam West has retained its authentic character despite the gentrification that has taken place in recent years. During this event, hosted by Hasan Gök, the authors will explore the sensual and alluring sensations of the area in a public meeting space that embraces language in all its possible expressions. Join us on 14 March for an intimate night filled with sweltering stories to experience new sensations in the city.
In this first Extra Space event, we invite you to see, hear, smell and taste the city in a sensual way. Through evocative storytelling in spaces where we come together, listen to music, dance, walk, share a meal and have captivating conversations, Extra Space attracts new connections with the city and each other. Ontmoet in ons nieuwe event Extra Space schrijvers en dichters Dean Bowen, Dirk Vis, Elfie Tromp en Yentl van Stokkum in Leeszaal Rotterdam West en luister naar hun verleidelijke woorden over de karakteristieke wijk. Op steenworp afstand van het centrum heeft Rotterdam West ondanks de gentrificatie van de afgelopen jaren haar authentieke karakter weten te behouden. De auteurs zullen tijdens deze avond, gehost door Hasan Gök, de sensuele en verleidelijke sensaties van deze wijk bezingen in Leeszaal Rotterdam West, een fantastische ontmoetingsruimte die taal in al haar mogelijke uitingen omarmt. In dit eerste Extra Space evenement nodigen we je uit om de stad op een sensuele manier te zien, horen, ruiken en proeven. Door middel van evocatieve verhalen in de ruimtes waar we samenkomen, naar muziek luisteren, dansen, wandelen, een maaltijd delen en met elkaar flirten, brengt Extra Space ruimte voor nieuwe verhalen van de stad.
