Team Thursday (Loes van Esch & Simone Trum) will host the evening at their graphic design studio on Gouvernestraat, and will regale us with tantalising tastes of Seoul—a city they fell in love with, made friends in and have visited many times.
Later, discover the unruliness of Manchester by joining Rosa de Graaf (Witte de With Center for Contemporary Art) on her journey through the fascinating musical metropolis. Follow glistening sequins and reigning queens through the pulsating streets of the city as she brings her recently published Urbex text to life.
Rosa will be joined by DJ Richard James Foster, who will provide intermezzos drawn directly from Manchester’s rich musical past. We can dream the night away like we did at the Haçienda! Korean finger food and drinks will be served. Rotterdam will be bustling with cultural activity that night, so feel free to walk in and out of the event as you wish—as we do hope we might ever so briefly meet again.
