As a botanical philosopher, Norbert Peeters is concerned with the special world of plants.
Following Darwin’s view of the plant kingdom, Norbert emphasises a different way of looking at and describing plants, believing that they are not passive beings, but can observe, experience and collaborate just like humans and animals. Norbert studied Archeology and Philosophy, and is doing part-time PhD research at Leiden University, where he investigates the philosophical and historical background of weeds. Also a lecturer at Leiden University and a programmaker for Studium Generale Leiden, Norbert is wholly devoted to the natural sciences.
