13 September, Sumia Juxun - Montreal/Dakar/London
– Listen here –
Doesn’t the city transform at night? Our sense of direction becomes sharp and quick as an atmosphere of possibility throngs under the glow of the streetlights. In a city at dusk, you can be anybody you want to be, and the nights can last forever. This episode of Nightwalker is guided by the rhythm of a walk through Montreal’s Parc La Fontaine in autumn with a lover. Listen along as Sumia Juxun dances with her memories, revisiting intimate moments in Montreal, Dakar and London. Sumia is a poet, producer and educator currently based between Rotterdam and London. She often writes about memory, movement and the cyclical process of leaving.
