With a legacy of thousands of erotic portraits of women, Sanne Sannes is one of the most elusive as well as talented photographers of the Netherlands. The grainy, emotionally charged and sensual black and white images were innovative and went against all traditional rules of photography. Experimenting with photography techniques and styles, his work shows an intimate ecstasy. A fatal car accident in 1967 tragically ended his short but promising career, just days after Sannes had turned 30.
