Priscila Fernandes

By immersing yourself in Priscila Fernandes’ riveting artworks, you realise how much your life can change by simply choosing to have fun. Humorously examining the increasing inability to separate our work and private lives, she paints while roller-skating, while swinging on a hammock or while swimming from one paddle pool to the next for her works in Labour Series (2019). To allow us to appreciate the joys of life, of our individual and collective freedom to encourage change, Priscila displays the precariousness of our world through her speculative, fictional approaches in her stimulatingly interactive artworks. Conjuring a critical space that permits the collaboration of imagination and intuition, Priscila’s abstract art inspires us to imagine our many possible futures, hand in hand with her.
