Working as a deep-sea diver on the construction of the Olympic Harbor in Barcelona, Lluís Artús had a serious accident forcing him to leave the job. Lluís turned to photography and moved to London where he worked for newspapers. Back home in Barcelona, he became fascinated by the city’s culture of beach life. The viewer is plunged into Lluís’ portrait series of macho men, topless women and free-spirited beachgoers in a bright setting, intimately conveying his personal story.
