Raised in San Marino, on the slopes of Mount Titano, Giulia Gregnanin is an independent curator, writer and researcher. Co-founder of the project space and curatorial collective Il Colorificio, Giulia devotes her time to art that calls into question the nature of reality. Regarding sex as a form of knowledge, her research converges on counter-narratives of collective resistance. Working as a curator with artists such as Nora Turato and SAGG Napoli, Giulia is currently based in Glasgow, where the theme of self-representation in a patriarchal society in exhibitions takes unpredictable and exciting forms. You can find her love letter to Milano – the city she called home for more than ten years – in Extra Extra nº16.
