As a prolific and well-known Dutch playwright, Don Duyns has written numerous successful productions including Lang en gelukkig (Happily ever after), Snorro and De gelaarsde poes (Pus in boots). Likewise, theatre productions such as Hollandia, Het Filiaal and Ro Theater have convincingly transposed the rich theatre of his imagination onto the stage. Besides also teaching at the Polytechnic in Utrecht and The Film Academy in Amsterdam, Don outlines television scenarios and writes film scripts, which at present is a scenario on the banking crisis and a Shakespearean theatre rendition to be performed at the Rotterdam Theatre.
