Behind the vibrant blue doors of De STU, a creative studio situated in Rotterdam North, are nine brilliant female artists: Monomania, Maravilla Studio, Doris Bagijn, Roos Janssen, Julie-O Atelier, Maaike Kalkhoven, Heleen Kosse, Laura Siliquini and Anniek Trompper. Each practicing their own discipline, they build a bridge between individuals who are interested in creation, craft or art and people who specialise in self-taught practice or academics. De STU function as a small academy where ideas are thrown around freely and always caught by somebody; where opportunities to learn something new enthusiastically thrives.
