By chance, Christian von David became the author of the only biography of the late German actor Klaus Kinski, proving his importance as a writer. Trained as an actor before studying for a doctorate, he not only writes, but also acts, creates art and is active as a script doctor and consultant. Christian’s interests lie in the diverse forms of storytelling in novels and screenplays, as well as the dramaturgical differences between films and series. To fruitfully exercise this curiosity, he wrote two crime novels set in Vienna, the city of his birth, that pays homage to the Italian giallo of the 1970s.
