Revealing architecture as a hidden system and culture that spans far beyond the material, Ali T. As’ad challenges how we perceive designs, space and buildings through his practice. As a multidisciplinary researcher, curator and architect, he encourages us to recognise architecture as more than just a physical construction. He has collaborated with academic and cultural institutions, as well as architectural practices, across Egypt, India, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, the Netherlands, Turkey, the UK and the US, possessing an all-encompassing view of how our bodies and thoughts move in different spaces.
